We are located 150 metres from the train station.
In the vicinity are an excellent shopping street,
wonderful restaurants and a first-class bakery.
There are also plenty of opportunities for sport – Mortsel has a swimming pool,
sports’ hall, gym and a keep-fit path round Fort 4, all within walking distance.
There are also lots of recreational activities for children, including a playground
and ‘Recrea’, an organisation that organises all kinds of activities for kids and which is close by.
There are a number of direct connections to Antwerp and the surrounding area.
The centre of Antwerp is only 8 minutes away by train.
You are also only 9 km from the beautiful historic town of Lier.
This is a 10-minute trip by car or the bus to Lier (and Antwerp) stops 100 metres from Huis fort 4.
How to reach us
By car: Coming from the Netherlands (Breda E19) and Germany (E313)
On the ring road round Antwerp take the Berchem exit. Turn left upon leaving the motorway and head in the direction of Mortsel.
Coming from France (Ghent E17),on the ring road round Antwerp take the Berchem exit.
Turn left upon leaving the motorway. At the first traffic lights turn right (R1 ‘Singel Noord’)
then right again at the second traffic lights and head in the direction of Mortsel - Lier.
By train :‘Oude-God Mortsel’ station
By tram: tram 7 and tram 15 to the centre of Mortsel
By bus :catch the Antwerp – Lier bus and get of at ‘Drabstraat’ in Mortsel.
